A nature trail starting on the west side of Shipshewana on 850 W just north of Middlebury Street. The Pumpkinvine is a nature trail used for jogging, walking, and biking. Motorized vehicles of any kind are not allowed. Bike rentals are available at the CVB (Convention and Visitors Bureau) at 350 S Van Buren St., Shipshewana. The CVB phone number is 260-768-4008.
The Quilt Gardens along the Heritage Trail combine quilting and gardening. There are 16 gardens to view throughout the tour. The beautiful trip will take you through the countryside of Shipshewana and many other surrounding towns. The self guided tour runs May through September.
